Project Malawi

Project Malawi started working with the Korea International Cooperation Agency(KOICA) and was involved in maternal - child health and education business to prevent HIV/AIDS by 2016. In addition, maternal and child health has been developed into a wide range of projects since 2017 to promote development from birth to infant.

1Establish a population health monitoring system for birth, death, pregnancy, marriage and migration
2Lifecycle parenting programs such as parenting education on health, nutrition, child development and upbringing
3Prenatal and postnatal outritch programs to enhance health care and nutrition accessibility
4Increase awareness of the community including husbands through community community programs

Why do we do it in Malawi?

1As of 2017, the GDP per capita is $6.2 billion. 152nd out of 185 countries
2As of 2014, Human Development Index ranked(HDI) 174th out of 185 countries
3HIV/AIDS Death Rate 7th highest among 55 African countries
4Maternal mortality is the seventh highest among 55 African countries
